I designed this bar when I returned home on Wednesday evening.  As with all of my designs, I let the day's experiences influence how I'm feeling at the "end" of a day.  On June 22, I was feeling acceptance, happiness and anticipation; these three basic emotions inspired this beautiful bar.

When I unveiled the wooden mold today, the soap revealed itself to me and it is beautiful to the eye;  the scents of lemongrass and basil are pure summer; the colors are soft, yet intense at the same time, which causes me to pause and smile.

As the 11 bars cure for the next 4 weeks, they will evolve and retain the memory of this particular Wednesday.
I can't wait.  I'm filled with anticipation to experience the touch of this beautiful Cielo Soap. I know this bar will stimulate your emotional wellness, too.  Let me know via email, if you wish to pre-order a bar or two.

Yes, these soaps are unique, one-of-a-kind, boutique, or whatever you wish to label them.  All I know is that I make each batch with intention, precision, scientific integrity, and lots of love.

Most importantly, lots of love and acceptance.

Cielo Soaps are designed in small quantities.  When they're gone . . . they are gone.  Why? Because Cielo Soaps is a creative process.  These are not mass produced bars of "soap."  They are emotional works of art.

At the end of every day, I come home to Dundee and design soap based on my experiences of "the day."

For instance, yesterday I logged in over 16,000 steps on my Fitbit.  Plus,  I  lifted over 50 concrete blocks (32 lbs. each!)  onto pallets during a project, which is a long-term demo project in the warehouse district in Toledo, Ohio.

 I have never felt more alive in my life doing this type of physical activity. So,  I felt inspired to design a "Tea Tree and Spruce" cleansing soap to celebrate the day. "Celebration Tea Tree and Spruce"  - only 10 bars will be available for purchase on July 15, 2016.  Oh, I'm keeping one.  Only nine bars are available now!

So, what I'm telling you is that I'm not in the "soaping business."  I'm in the "sharing of emotional life - through designing soap."
